FBI Name Check Delays

Name checks are pending too long, months or even years. There are many legal immigrants who have had their lives "put on hold" due to a backlog at the FBI, according to the USCIS Ombudsman report 2007.

This is a security matter for all Americans, and should be a concern of our government . We request immediate action from the FBI, and our government to complete background checks in a timely manner, with a maximum time frame of 120 days.
